Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team at Cognizant North America. As a key member of our Neuro AI team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive automated tests to ensure the quality of our AI orchestration software products.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Python applications and web apps using Selenium.
  • Own the testing of new features to transition manual tests into automated systems.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other team members to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Proactively identify, report, and track defects to resolution.
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to improve the overall quality of our products.
  • Continuously enhance our testing process and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in test automation.
  • Experience in establishing an automated test environment for a new product from scratch.
  • Excellence, proactivity, and precision in communication and collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong experience with testing Python applications.
  • Strong experience with web apps using Selenium Python and Selenium IDE.
  • Experience with augmenting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of how to use JavaScript for testing web apps.
  • Home is a Linux/shell-oriented development environment.
  • Experience with testing web APIs and databases is a plus.
  • Testing of AI and/or randomized processes is a plus.
What We Offer:
  • An annual salary between $170,000 and $200,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
