Primary Care NP/PA Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to join our healthcare team. This role is situated in a vibrant community, offering a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and evaluations for patients in a clinical setting.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and physicians, providing care in both clinical and surgical environments.
- Deliver healthcare services under the supervision of a physician, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.
- Engage in a team-based approach to patient care, potentially specializing in areas such as geriatrics.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, EKGs, and X-rays, under physician oversight.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science, Medical Science, or Nursing is required.
- Successful completion of an accredited physician assistant or Advanced Practice RN program.
- Current PA or APRN License in the State of Florida.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is mandatory.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
- Experience in developing and managing patient care programs is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of advanced practice principles, including anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and therapeutic practices.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic health record documentation.
