Responsibilities- Consultation and Diagnosis: Meet with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns, and diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases.
- Prescription and Treatment: Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Patient Education: Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Monitoring and Follow-up: Monitor patients' conditions and progress, and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
- Health and Wellness Advice: Provide health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Immunization: Immunize patients against preventable diseases.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.
- Referral and Support: Refer patients to other medical specialists when necessary, and provide support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
- Research and Development: Conduct research into the testing and development of new medications, methods of treatment, or procedures to prevent or control illness, disease, or injury.
- NY State License: Must have an active NY State License.
- Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Bilingual Skills: Must be Bilingual in Spanish.
- Salary: The salary for this position is $200,000 - $220,000 per year (negotiable).
- Work Schedule: This is a Full-time or a Part-time position (2-3 days a week - weekdays).
- Benefits Package: Includes malpractice insurance, health insurance, vacation time, sick days, CME, 401K, and productivity bonuses.
