Key Responsibilities

The Kitchen Steward will be responsible for maintaining a pristine kitchen environment. This includes:

  • Loading and unloading dishwashing machines with care.
  • Hand-washing specific items such as wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china.
  • Organizing and storing clean dishes, glasses, and kitchen equipment appropriately.
  • Ensuring an adequate supply of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, particularly during busy service periods.
  • Monitoring the operation of washing machines and reporting any technical or performance issues promptly.
