As a Retail Operations Leader, you will oversee all facets of store operations to enhance sales performance while embodying Burlington's core values. You will serve as a mentor and coach to your team, exemplifying exceptional customer service and professionalism to ensure a premier shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to uphold company policies and standards.
  • Ensure team members are meeting their responsibilities effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Store Manager on merchandising strategies, sales promotions, and pricing initiatives.
  • Work with the Operations team to verify inventory accuracy through thorough review of receiving and returns processes.
  • Manage a substantial sales volume and budget, including oversight of reporting and record-keeping.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding processes to fulfill staffing needs.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for all team members.
  • Address personnel and associate relations matters as they arise.
  • Oversee payroll management and workforce scheduling.
  • Facilitate effective communication between store teams and regional management.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Retail Management within a large-scale or specialty retail environment. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in computerized scheduling and reporting tools is required. Occasional travel may be necessary.
