Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, adhering to all protocols and policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs.
- Conduct quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Meet the minimum experience requirements.
- Hold either CNMT or NMTCB registration.
- Be BLS certified.
This is a PRN, as needed, day shift position that requires a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
