Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions to students, parents, and teachers to support academic and mental health success.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) to meet the unique needs of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and behavior.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on best practices in school psychology to inform your work.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure that all parties are informed and engaged in the student's educational and mental health plan.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations.
  • Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
