Rental Agent

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Rental Agent to join our team at DARCARS Automotive Group. As a Rental Agent, you will be responsible for coordinating rental arrangements for our service department customers, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

• Schedule customer reservations for rentals and manage rental requests to meet customer needs
• Process customer information to qualify eligibility for rentals through insurance
• Ensure rental cars are ready for use by scheduling timely service and maintenance
• Take notes on car condition, mileage, and damage before and after customer use
• Process damage information to be billed or collected through insurance
• Explain rental policy and answer customer questions
• Validate customer credentials, including driver's license and payment information
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person
• Process customer payments

• Previous rental agent experience is a plus
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High School Degree or Equivalent (GED)
• Must be at least eighteen years of age
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background)
