Avera Pain Management Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pain Management team at Avera Medical Group. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse in the primary nurse role is responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to provide nursing care for the patient throughout their life span. He/She assumes responsibility for the outcome of Nursing Care delivered on their shift. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate degree preferred.
  • Previous nursing experience is required.
  • Current license to practice in the state of South Dakota. ACLS is required, ABI trained.
