Job Summary

Join our team as a Nursing Assistant at Methodist Health System, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support. As a Nursing Assistant, you will work closely with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to patients, including assistance with daily living needs, vital sign monitoring, and transportation.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient patient care environment by maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols, and ensuring patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address patient needs, providing timely and effective communication and documentation.
  • Participate in mandatory in-services and continuing education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain up-to-date with the latest best practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of a 75-hour state-approved Nurse Assistant course or 6 months of Nurse Assistant experience preferred.
  • Previous customer service, cleaning, food service, and/or patient-related experience a plus.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions, follow schedules, communicate information, read simple and clear instructions, and complete reports.
  • Must be able to collect, record, and report patient needs to the appropriate caregiver.
