A global manufacturing client is undergoing a major migration to AWS, and we're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to play a key role in this project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and technology stack
  • Implement best practices for deployment, configuration management, monitoring, and ensuring uptime and performance of applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate CI/CD pipelines and streamline the development process
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, and participate in on-call rotation as needed
  • Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.) and Kubernetes
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
Preferred Skills:
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
  • Experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)

This is a full-time opportunity based in Raleigh, NC, with a requirement to work two days a week on-site. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
