Job Overview

Position: Warehouse Forklift Technician

A renowned International Logistics Distribution Firm is seeking Temporary (5 weeks) Full-time personnel to assist in establishing a new storage facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operation of Forklifts and Scissor Lifts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
  • Measure areas accurately
  • Handle loading and unloading of goods and equipment
  • Construct frameworks (shelving units, picking carts, etc.)
  • Affix labels or markers on shelves, floors, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Adhere to safety protocols while performing tasks
  • Possess a valid Forklift Certification
  • Experience with Scissor Lifts and relevant certification
  • Proficient in using tools (screwdrivers, drills, utility knives, etc.)
  • Background in handyman work, furniture assembly, or similar fields
  • Required to bring personal protective equipment (PPE) including a helmet, steel-toe footwear, and a vest (gloves and safety glasses will be provided)
  • Team-oriented, capable of collaborating with supervisors and colleagues
  • Able to follow directives and undertake various general labor tasks as assigned
  • Commitment to remain on the job for the entire duration of the project
  • Dynamic, responsible, and dependable with a strong attendance record
  • Must achieve daily production targets
  • Frequent bending required
