We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at ilani. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests by preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes.

• Promote a culture of excellent guest service and maintain a positive organizational culture.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Prepare and maintain your own knives and assist other sushi chefs as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest sushi trends and techniques through ongoing training and practice.
• Follow orders from leadership and take initiative to improve processes and procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in a high-volume sushi restaurant.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster a supportive team environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours.
• Valid Food Handler's card.
