About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Consultant to join our team at SHRM. As a consultant, you will work closely with our members to understand their HR-related needs and provide expert guidance and support to address those needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver high-quality resources and support to our members, leveraging your extensive knowledge of HR principles and practices. You will work collaboratively with our content team to create engaging and informative materials, including articles, webinars, and social media content.

We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about HR and has a strong background in generalist HR experience. If you have excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to think strategically, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities

As a Human Resources Consultant at SHRM, you will be responsible for:
• Developing and delivering high-quality resources and support to our members
• Working closely with our content team to create engaging and informative materials
• Collaborating with other HR professionals to share knowledge and best practices
• Staying up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in HR
• Providing expert advice and guidance to SHRM members on various human resources-related topics

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
• A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
• At least seven years of progressive experience in all areas of human resource management
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• The ability to think strategically and make decisions independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
