Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize sophisticated ultrasound equipment to conduct examinations
  • Take into account individual patient needs, including special or age-related requirements
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
  • Board eligibility for certification at the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Oregon Sonographer certification upon hire
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound
  • 2 years of OBGYN sonography experience
