Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team at ClearSky Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct, non-invasive bedside care to patients, prioritizing their needs and delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and deliver basic patient care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, and vital sign measurements.
  • Perform and document vital signs, intake and output, weights, and specimen collections.
  • Transfer patients utilizing proper body mechanics and safe patient handling techniques.
  • Report any changes observed in patient condition or behavior to appropriate nursing personnel.
  • Assist in preparing unit, patient rooms, and patient beds for receiving patient admissions.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Adhere to patient rounding expectations and standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment conducive to patient comfort and healing.
  • Promptly and appropriately respond to patient and family calls and requests.
  • Designate applicable charges to individual patients using the hospital's established system.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting, with inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Current state CNA certification required.
  • CPR certification required.
Physical Requirements

A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods. Both gross and precise motor functions. Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs. Possible exposure to bodily fluids. Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care. Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
