Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Trillion Technology Solutions, focusing on the implementation and optimization of cloud infrastructure for mission-critical systems within the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

About the Role
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure for mission-critical DoD systems.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker to support scalable and resilient architectures.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of cloud environments.
  • Provide leadership in cloud architecture design, ensuring scalability, performance, cost optimization, and alignment with DoD compliance frameworks.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices, using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all infrastructure complies with DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA), STIGs, and FedRAMP guidelines.
  • Continuously monitor cloud environments for security, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Provide expertise in securing workloads using cloud-native tools and implementing principles such as Zero Trust Architecture.
Requirements
  • Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud services, including architecture, security, networking, and governance.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for enterprise-level applications.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including managing clusters and implementing best practices.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and tools for CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Nexus.
  • Knowledge of DoD cloud security compliance requirements, including STIG, FedRAMP, and SCCA.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure issues efficiently in a high-security environment.
