Job Overview:

The Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse to support Principal Investigators in the day-to-day activities required for activation, execution, and management of clinical research studies or protocols. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting PI in assessing study feasibility, determining participation eligibility, and establishing guidelines for clinical data collection.

Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit participants for clinical trials;
• Collect, compile, document, and analyze clinical research data;
• Develop best practice guidance and work aids for research teams;
• Maintain current CITI credentials and adhere to IRB requirements and Human Subjects protection regulations;
• Follow VCU internal processes to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory standards;

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and active clinical RN licensure;
• 2+ years of relevant experience supporting data management activities with an exposure to data processes and flow;
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing client status, regulations, and work environment;
• Proficiency in various clinical research technologies, including EDC software, XML, OnCore, EMR, RedCap, and DEEP6A;
