Job Summary:

As a Senior Surgical Technologist at UTMB Health, you will provide advanced level technical assistance to the surgical team before, during, and following surgery. Your expertise will facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring a safe operating room environment and proper equipment function.

Key Responsibilities:

Expertly assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses.

Ensure the operating room environment is safe and equipment functions properly.

Conduct surgical procedures under conditions that maximize patient safety.

Requirements:

High school graduate or GED.

Completion of a Surgical Technologist program.

Basic Life Support certification.

Five years of related experience in the field of surgical technology.
