RN - Respiratory Cardiac Care Specialist

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a skilled Cardiac Care RN to join our Respiratory Unit. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
About the RoleThis is a part-time, night shift position (2 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend) on our 2R Respiratory Cardiology Unit. Our team cares for acute patients with respiratory illnesses and thoracic surgeries, and we are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and education programs
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year of nursing experience
