Shift Details: Night

Role Description: This position involves working in a high-acuity environment, providing care for patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Candidates must possess a valid nursing license and certifications such as BLS and ACLS. A minimum of one year of experience in a similar setting is required. The unit typically accommodates 16 patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, focusing on adult patients.

Common Patient Conditions: The role includes managing patients with cardiac conditions, post-operative care from cardiac and thoracic surgeries, and those requiring advanced interventions such as IABP, Impella, and CRRT.

Medications & Equipment: Familiarity with common medications and drips, including levophed and various cardiac medications, is essential. Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.

Floating Requirements: Nurses may be required to float to other units, including ICU, Telemetry, and Emergency Department as necessary.

Guaranteed Hours

36 hours per week

Contract Details

This position is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a pay package that includes a tax-free stipend.
