Job Description

As a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer/Manager, you will play a key role in leading analysis, design, construction administration, and technical report preparation for water treatment, wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource recovery facility projects.

You will be responsible for leveraging your expertise to pursue new projects, ensuring quality client services, and delivering high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supporting business development with client relationship and management services
  • Coordinating assigned work to ensure continuity, consistency, and quality
  • Directing and supervising complex studies and investigations

  • Determining and scheduling required project resources
  • Evaluating and analyzing project decisions
  • Maintaining established schedules
  • Staying up-to-date on existing and pending regulations and technological advancements
  • Participating in contract administration, interpretation, and implementation

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6+ years' experience in water/wastewater engineering or project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a project team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
