Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Medical Care: Provide emergency medical care and stabilization to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency medical services, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.
  • Transportation Services: Transport patients to and from medical facilities, using advanced life support equipment and techniques as needed.
  • Assessment and Treatment: Assess patients and determine the nature and acuity of their illness or injury, administering appropriate medical treatment using independent judgment and protocols or standing orders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and emergency medical technicians, to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
Requirements
  • Education: Certificate or Associate Degree in Emergency Medical Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience preferred, but no experience required.
  • Licensure and Certification: Must have and maintain a current Oklahoma Paramedic License, and obtain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within 30 days of hire.
