Job Summary

KCI, a leading telecommunications vendor, seeks an experienced OSP Foreman to lead a 3-man crew in underground telecommunications/utility excavation, conduit/cable placement, and ground restoration. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating a backhoe, preferably the Takeuchi brand, and be able to provide direction to a helper and tech II.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a 3-man crew in underground telecommunications/utility excavation, conduit/cable placement, and ground restoration
  • Operate a backhoe, preferably the Takeuchi brand
  • Provide direction to a helper and tech II
  • Work in various weather conditions
  • Drive company vehicles

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of OSP Foreman/Operator underground construction experience
  • Experience performing mechanical excavation, trenching, or duck bank installation
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Quality of work
