**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Catering Associate to join our team at Tenet Florida Physician Services, L.L.C. As a Catering Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and deliver patient meals, taking into account individual dietary needs and restrictions.
- Stock and maintain food and supply inventory, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and organized.
- Assist with food preparation, setup, and service, ensuring that all meals are presented in a clean and appealing manner.
- Interact with nursing staff to ensure that patient diet prescriptions are accurate and patients' food needs are met.
- Monitor patients who are NPO, on liquid diets, or have calorie count ordered, and assist the dietitian as needed.
- Exhibit a friendly and caring attitude when interacting with patients, taking menu selections, delivering trays, and retrieving trays.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate hospital admission, discharge, and transfer systems and other computer-based systems.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Prior hospital food service experience.
- Thorough knowledge of modified diet restrictions for patient meal preparation and meal services.
**Work Environment**
This is a part-time, 2-year position working days. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
