Meat Cutter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our team at Giant Eagle. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency of our meat cooler and freezer, ensuring customer safety by rotating and checking product code dates, and prioritizing safety in all aspects of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload deliveries and maintain a clean and organized meat department
  • Rotate and check product code dates to ensure customer safety
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety protocols
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer orders are filled to meet their expectations
