About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Systems Specialist to join our team at voestalpine Signaling USA in Loveland, Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining electro-mechanical systems, assisting engineers with design updates, and obtaining detailed assembly documentation.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience working with electrical and mechanical systems, as well as networking programming and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and build electro-mechanical components, including sub-assemblies, for our product line
  • Complete tasks within allotted timeframes and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow standard processes to ensure quality standards and assist with inventory maintenance
  • Aid engineers in laboratory development and research activities
  • Perform infrequent domestic and international travel to assist with system installation and testing
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in electronics and networking programming
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to read blueprints and drawings
  • Ability to work safely and confidently with hand and power tools, with high regard for safety
  • Professional communication skills, with ability to document own work and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred Skills
  • 2-4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting, preferably in an electronics shop
  • General fabrication skills and basic knowledge of information technology
  • Railroad experience and/or knowledge of railroad infrastructure
  • Second language proficiency (e.g., German, Spanish)

The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location factors.
