Job Title: General Manager

As a General Manager at Aimbridge Hospitality, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a hotel, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing the hotel's financial performance, maintaining high-quality product and service levels, and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the hotel's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial data.
  • Maintain high-quality product and service levels, ensuring that guests have a positive experience.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, as well as Company and brand standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of management personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve hotel operations, including sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to hotel operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Ensure that all employees receive fair and equitable treatment, in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly, and to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations, and to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
  • Ability to handle problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
