The Community You Will Serve:
AdventHealth Kissimmee is a community-centered healthcare facility that focuses on delivering mission-driven, faith-based care to the residents and visitors of the surrounding areas.

Your Role:
You will be responsible for conducting mammographic imaging procedures, assisting radiologists with biopsies and other related tasks, and performing X-Ray and DEXA imaging as required. This includes positioning and assisting patients, gathering patient histories, and fulfilling clerical duties while adhering to departmental standards and practices.

You are expected to comply with the hospital's corporate compliance plan and the regulations set forth by local, state, and federal agencies, as well as the standards of all accrediting organizations.


Your Contributions to the Team:

  • Review requisitions, patient reports, and previous imaging results prior to examinations.
This ensures awareness of the procedure requested, the patient's condition, and any pertinent history or notes.

  • Conduct X-Ray and DEXA imaging as necessary.
  • Exhibit proficiency in selecting appropriate positioning and technical parameters in digital mammography.
  • Adhere to ACR/MQSA standards for positioning and image quality.
  • Familiarity with ACR QA/QC manual and ability to perform required tests regularly.
Qualifications Required for Success:

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least one year of experience in Radiology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid state license in Radiography
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology or Mammography

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in a relevant field
