About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Safety Director to join our team at ITAC Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive safety program that protects employees, ensures regulatory compliance, and elevates company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design and execute safety initiatives that promote a culture of safety and well-being among employees.
  • Conduct Safety Audits and Inspections: Regularly assess the manufacturing floor to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead Safety Training Programs: Develop and deliver training sessions to educate employees on safety protocols and best practices.
  • Investigate Accidents and Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Maintain Safety Policies and Compliance: Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure Environmental Compliance: Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in an Industrial Safety leadership role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and other industry standards. Proficiency in incident investigations and root cause analysis. Familiarity with EDM systems and environmental reporting.
  • Certifications: Certified Safety Professional, Certified Associate Safety Professional, Certified Construction Health and Safety Professional, or Certified Industrial Hygienist preferred.
