About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Forward Dental. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment.
  • Diagnostic Support: Conduct thorough reviews of patient health history, take and process x-rays, and utilize advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Chairside Assistance: Provide superior support to dentists during procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts.
  • Administrative Tasks: Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping, manage supply inventory, and maintain a safe and organized treatment environment.

Requirements
  • Dental Knowledge: Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a dental setting, preferably with Dentrix or similar software.
  • Certifications: Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, as required by state dental practice acts.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
