Key Responsibilities:
As an Automotive Service Technician, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Executing routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and transmission flushes
- Staying informed on the latest industry standards and practices in automotive repair
- Performing detailed diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repairs
- Conducting vehicle inspections in compliance with state emissions and safety regulations
- Carrying out necessary repairs and test driving vehicles to ensure operational integrity
- Maintaining precise records for customer and dealership needs
- Ensuring a tidy work area to promote safety and equipment longevity
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving history
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Availability to work on Saturdays
- A minimum of one year of experience as an automotive technician
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Personal tools are required
- A current state inspection license is preferred but not mandatory
