We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hospital Medicine within an Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting.
Candidate Profile:
We welcome applications from NP/PA candidates, with a preference for those holding a Hospital Medicine CAQ.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in inpatient medicine is required.
Visa Policy:
We do not accept J1 or H1 visas.
Employment Structure:
This is a W2 position (no 1099 contractors).
Work Schedule:
This is a Full-Time role with a 7 on-7 off schedule, covering 7 am to 7 pm (average onsite requirement is 7 am to 3 pm, depending on patient volume).
Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is $140K.
Virtual Support:
A Virtual Scribe will be provided to assist with documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited program for Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners.
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Demonstrated clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, ideally in a primary care or specialty context.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic capabilities, with a focus on developing effective treatment strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care characterized by compassion, empathy, and respect.
- Dedication to ongoing professional growth and staying informed about the latest medical developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an average daily rehabilitation census of 25 patients.
- Demonstrate effective time management and proactive communication.
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history assessments, physical examinations, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat a range of acute and chronic conditions within the scope of practice.
- Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending therapies.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
