Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the evaluation and analysis of structural component failures and develop effective assessment strategies while conducting investigative assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in various field testing activities, including non-destructive testing, vibration monitoring, and thermographic inspections.
- Conduct window water spray testing, blower door testing, and waterproofing inspections.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation under the guidance of a licensed engineer.

Essential Skills:
- A degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Structural Engineering, from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience in the architectural, engineering, or construction sectors.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or the ability to take the exam within six months.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the architectural, engineering, or construction field, particularly in building construction issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Building Codes and their various iterations.

Experience Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey observations, analyses, and conclusions.
- Proficiency in computer applications; familiarity with AutoCAD and structural analysis software (e.g., STAADPro, RISA) is advantageous.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate through project sites, including stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, carrying, and climbing.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
