We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network, an innovative leader in delivering person-centered home and community-based services.

About the Job:

This role offers the opportunity to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their health, safety, and well-being.

As a Direct Support Professional 2, you will be responsible for creating daily routines, assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.

  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support clients' needs and goals.
  • Provide assistance with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring a healthy diet for our clients.
  • Transport clients safely and efficiently, using company-provided vans when necessary.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
  • Current First Aid/CPR and CPI certifications.
  • A valid California Driver's License.
  • The ability to pass a background check.

You will also need to be at least 21 years old and physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
