Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at American CyberSystems in Camillus, NY. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Perform various duties related to patient appointment and medical record, including vital signs, problems, medications, pharmacy, and health history.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Update EMR orders, changing providers, making/changing appointments, recording administered injections, and using quick disclosure.
  • Liaison and Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, providers, office staff, and outside contacts, ensuring smooth provider workflow, solving problems, and notifying staff and patients of provider delays.
  • Lab Tests and Medications: Collect samples from patients, perform routine lab tests, and administer medications.
  • Assisting Providers: Assist providers with procedures, prepare patients as required, and anticipate both provider and patient needs.

Requirements:

  • NYS RN License: Current New York State Registered Nurse license required.
  • CPR Certification: Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • Electronic Medical Records Experience: Experience with electronic medical records is essential.
  • Physician Office Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a physician office environment.
  • Medical Office Procedures: Familiarity with medical office procedures and standards of medical care.
