Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient screenings, including oral health assessments, health history reviews, and oral cancer screenings.
  • Remove calculus and plaque from teeth surfaces.
  • Apply preventive materials, such as sealants and fluorides.
  • Teach patients proper oral hygiene techniques and provide nutritional counseling.
  • Counsel patients on the importance of good nutrition for oral health.
  • Take impressions of patients' teeth for study casts.

Requirements:

  • Associate or advanced degree in Dental Hygiene.
  • State certification/license as a Dental Hygienist.
  • One year or more of relevant experience in the dental industry preferred.
