Job Title: PowerBuilder Developer

We are seeking a skilled PowerBuilder Developer to join our team at Eliassen Group. As a PowerBuilder Developer, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining a mission-critical application. Your expertise in PowerBuilder will be utilized to code and test data windows to replace over 100 sample test result spreadsheet formats that were coded using an outdated 3rd party software tool.

Responsibilities:

* Enhance and maintain a mission-critical application
* Code and test data windows to replace outdated spreadsheet formats
* Coding and testing bug fixes and other functional enhancements to the system
* Design SharePoint and web-based solutions to support Preconstruction and Scoping business processes

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience as a PowerBuilder developer using PB10 or more recent versions
* Strong SQL skills, preferably with Sybase database experience
* Strong Microsoft Suite experience, particularly Excel
* Experience with standard development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, unit & system testing, quality assurance testing
* Strong analytical, conceptual, and technical skills
* Positive interpersonal skills coupled with an independent, self-motivated work ethic

Preferred Skills:

* Development experience in C#
* Development experience in Java
* Experience coding stored procedures and triggers
* Experience developing in a Visual Studio environment
