Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing production support for both Laser and MAG welding processes, including tooling maintenance and optimization.
  • Developing and implementing robotic programming solutions as needed.
  • Identifying and addressing root causes of negative influences on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), including scrap rates, technical downtime, and organizational constraints.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues related to welding equipment and processes.
  • Validating product quality through dimensional, weld penetration, and strength testing.
  • Collaborating with welding technologists, maintenance teams, quality specialists, and line technicians to resolve downtime and non-conformance issues.
  • Providing training and guidance to new team members and technicians.
  • Ensuring adherence to Brose Group policies and standards related to quality and environmental requirements.
  • Being flexible with shift rotations, overtime, and weekend work as needed to meet production demands.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of welding experience or seat structure production manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret product prints and dimensional reports (GD&T).
  • Robotic programming experience.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • 2 years of related work experience.
