Radiology Imaging Specialist

SightMD is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team. As a Radiology Technician, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care under the direction of the Medical Director and Center Management.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by a licensed physician in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Center.
- Responsible for efficient operation regarding patient throughput and cooperation with all physicians and management.
- Accurately completes all required documentation.
- Checks and reorders supplies when necessary.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Reports any incidents involving patient safety or equipment malfunctions to supervisor immediately.
- Adheres to all center policies regarding confidentiality as set forth by the Governing Body.
- Assists in other areas as needed and when workload permits.
- Maintains all certifications as required by state and federal regulatory agencies as well as any credential required by the facility.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Radiology Technology License.
- ARRT (R) or eligible.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physics of modality.
- Demonstrates understanding of medical terminology.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a high-stress environment.
