**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide an outstanding client experience.
+ Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
+ Conduct thorough physical examinations and perform diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures while ensuring the utmost care and minimizing stress for patients.
+ Educate clients on preventive health measures, including vaccinations and suitable nutritional options.
+ Maintain accurate medical and surgical records for clients and patients, ensuring all logs are current and assist colleagues in patient follow-up and management.
**Qualifications Required:**
+ A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD) or equivalent is mandatory.
+ Active state license in good standing, DEA license, and any other necessary state credentials.
+ PLIT Insurance is required.
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in general veterinary medicine and surgery.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks with integrity and accountability.
+ Strong listening and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Comfortable working collaboratively with other veterinary professionals in a team-oriented setting.
+ A genuine passion for assisting both people and pets, demonstrating empathy and a strong customer service focus.
+ Proficient in using computers and PIMS software.
+ A sincere commitment to providing care that aligns with the values and mission of the team.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to stand or walk for up to 80% of the shift.
+ Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds with team assistance.
+ Rarely lift over 70 pounds with team support.
+ Capable of standing, pushing, pulling, carrying, squatting, and kneeling as needed.
