Certified Mammography Technologist

Mass General Brigham seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Mammography Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis in Northampton, Massachusetts. This role offers the opportunity to work with a renowned healthcare organization, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $80,000-$110,000, based on national averages and industry standards for mammography technologists in the United States.

This is an ongoing per diem job opportunity, with up to 8 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform high-quality mammography procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and excellent patient outcomes
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies

The Certified Mammography Technologist will report directly to the Supervisor, Mammography, and operate within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

• Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent certification required
• Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in Mammography required
• ARRT certification as a Mammography Technologist required; continuing education credits must meet State and Registry licensing requirements
• Current CPR certification required
• Two (2) years of diagnostic radiology experience and knowledge of all diagnostic procedures and radiographic equipment required
