About the Role:

As a Server, you'll be the face of our sports bar, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience. You'll take food and beverage orders, deliver prepared food promptly, and check with tables periodically to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
  • Greet and welcome each guest seated in assigned station.
  • Take food and beverage orders, deliver prepared food promptly, and check with table periodically to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain current and accurate information regarding menu.
  • Suggest items to guests based on expressed guest preferences.
  • Up-sell appetizers, beverages, and desserts in accordance with restaurant service standards.
  • Correctly enter food and beverage orders into the POS system to ensure accurate preparation of product.
  • Resolve service issues according to established guidelines.
  • Assist bus persons, as necessary, in bussing, cleaning, and setting tables.
  • Maintain cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards.
  • Deep clean restaurant equipment as scheduled, or required.
  • Complete assigned side work as directed.
  • Know and promote current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum one year of experience as a restaurant server.
  • Extensive beer knowledge preferable.
  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to read, write legibly, understand, and speak English.
  • Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
