Job Summary

Malace HR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on forklifts, pallet jacks, burden carriers, and other material handling equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electrical systems, telescopic masts, steering and suspension, diesel engines, and fuel systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tune-ups, hydraulic system inspections, belt changes, steering and suspension checks.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with management and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience in forklift maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Education and Training: Completion of a vocational program or apprenticeship in a related field.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possession of a tool chest and ability to operate power tools and equipment.
