Position Overview

SAIC is in search of a Senior Regional Intelligence Analyst with a concentrated emphasis on military and political dynamics at strategic, operational, and tactical levels, particularly focusing on Russia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead analyst and team coordinator for the Russia Country Team.
  • Oversee the production and dissemination of intelligence regarding the Russian Way of War.
  • Support the II MEF G2 IOC Director and team with daily intelligence production tasks.
  • Represent II MEF G2 IOC in daily operational events as necessary.
  • Ensure quality control and senior-level editing for intelligence outputs.
  • Conduct comprehensive multi-disciplinary intelligence production activities, including operational environment assessments, situation analysis, and various warfare domains.
  • Analyze and interpret information to enhance the understanding of Russian capabilities and strategies.
  • Collaborate with various intelligence disciplines and agencies to facilitate II MEF production efforts.
  • Train personnel on the IOC watch-floor processes to maintain high standards of intelligence production.
  • Provide regular updates on status as required by II MEF.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with twelve (12) years of experience; or four (4) years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory (U.S. Citizenship required).

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP), Joint Planning Process (JPP), or similar military planning methodologies.
  • Experience supporting Service, COCOM, or JS operations, with the ability to prepare materials for General Officer briefings.
  • Capability to learn and utilize various software and programming tools.
