Job Title: Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:
gpac is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will design, plan, and oversee the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be essential in creating roadway designs that meet local regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the design team to create roadway designs.
  • Develop project plans, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
  • Prepare engineering specifications and select materials for road construction and maintenance.
  • Design road alignments, intersections, and transportation facilities with safety and accessibility in mind.
  • Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide technical support during construction, including plan reviews and overseeing project progress.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure design standards are met.
  • Integrate environmental considerations, such as stormwater management, into roadway designs.
  • Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules.
  • Mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) and manage structural design projects.
