Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Forester I to join our team at the Department of Forestry & Fire Protection. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to forest management, including conducting field surveys, analyzing data, and developing forest management plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys to assess forest conditions and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze data and develop forest management plans to achieve conservation and resource management goals.
- Collaborate with other team members to implement forest management practices and ensure effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in forestry, natural resources, or related field preferred.
