Responsibilities
  • Perform opening and closing clinic duties, including scanning documents into our electronic health record system.
  • Greet patients, check them in for appointments, and verify their insurance information.
  • Maintain the tidiness of our waiting area and reception counter throughout the day.
  • Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Respond to designated tasks in our electronic health record system.
  • Order clinic office supplies and sell and track cosmetic products.
  • Distribute mail and prepare for next day scheduled appointments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred.
  • Proficient in basic computer functions and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
