Role Overview

We are currently seeking a Quality Receiving Inspector I who will be responsible for the inspection and evaluation of procured materials, components, and products in alignment with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections and testing in accordance with documented guidelines.
  • Accurately record inspection and testing data as outlined in written protocols.
  • Utilize all relevant testing and measurement equipment as per instructions and documented procedures.
  • Propose modifications to existing policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Prepare and submit requests for changes when applicable.
  • Document any non-conformances within the Non-Conforming Material Review system.
  • Engage in GR&R studies as directed by engineering or technical staff.
  • Gather data for First Article inspections.
  • Perform testing and inspections based on specific test requests.
  • Potentially train other inspectors as needed.
  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and trending of data.
  • Undertake miscellaneous tasks as required.
  • Support divisional initiatives as identified by management, contributing to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
