Loyola Medicine is seeking a skilled Nocturnist to join our Hospital Medicine team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Observation Unit, Hospitalist admissions, and cross-covering Hospitalist patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Observation Unit care: Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Observation Unit, ensuring timely and effective management of their conditions.
- Hospitalist admissions: Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective care plans for Hospitalist patients, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Cross-covering Hospitalist patients: Provide timely and efficient coverage of Hospitalist patients, ensuring continuity of care and minimizing disruptions.
- General Medicine consults: Occasionally, you will provide consultative services for General Medicine patients, focusing on risk stratification and optimal care.
Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Med-Peds
- Illinois medical license
